A Memorable Tour to Manali with Office Colleagues

In 2016, i was working with a company in Noida. We planned that we should go for an outing like any hill station. This was month of may, Within a week it decided a place Manali to go, booked our bus and hotels on a specific date.  We were almost 30 members including management too.

On 19th may, 2016 we were waiting for our bus outside the office. But bus did not came on time. We have to wait more. Its evening, bus arrived to us after a long wait. We all occupied our seats and took our bags.

We were very happy, i was also sitting besides one of my best friend. Our journey started with playing antakshari. After 2.5 hours run we reached at a restaurant Jilmil near by Sukhdev. We had taken our dinner there.

After this, we watched a movie in bus. The whole night we travel and almost next day too because the road was not as good condition. It takes more time as expected.

Finally we reached our hotel River View which was located at bank of Beas River where we welcomed with welcome drinks. Hotel’s rooms already alloted, everyone had taken their luggage and keys of rooms and get into rooms.

Hotel rooms were spacious, well furnished, nice curtains and sofas. The main attraction was its balcony. It was just open to side of Beas River, it was making an amazing sound. That night we did our dinner together nothing else and slept early.

In the next morning, 21 may, we get ready early, finish our breakfast in hotel. We hired cab for Solang valley. It takes around one hour from my hotel to reach there. In the middle of the way we stopped at a place and here we spend some times with Beas River. After this we were reached where Solang valley trekking started.

We started trekking, the way was not easy. Somewhere it feels very hot and somewhere very pleasant weather. The whole way was full with greenery, ups and down, rocky way.

In the way we also get into a different attire with jewellery. It was very colourful and pretty. It is called Himachali Dress.

In our way we met with a group of sheep, they were taking their foods and resting. We clicked many pictures here.

After 2.5 KM trekking we reached Solang valley. It covers with snow. We were slipering over there. You can do paragliding , skiing and other activities here.

Here we taste a himachali dish that called Thuppa.

This day was much tiring but we enjoyed each moment and return to our hotel. In the night there was a born-fire night, music, dance and lots of fun. After this We all sat round to born-fire. Around 12 am we leave  for our hotel rooms. In the next day, 22 may we checkout from our hotels. It was nice stay in RIVER VIEW.

We first go Vashisth temple which is famous for its hot water springs.

After that We go for Hadimba temple. It was a four story structure made with stone and wood and surrounded with trees.

We enjoyed here fresh cherry and strawberry too.

Our next destination was Naggar Castle Palace. It was made with wood and an old palace which is converted into heritage hotel now. It is situated at the top and surrounded with beautiful scenery of majestic mountain and greenery. It has an old museum too inside the heritage. We spent 40 minute here and then came outside.

We were next to go for river rafting in river Vyas, It was my first experience of rafting. First we collected our tickets and waited for our turn.

But sudden , rain had started. We were little upset because till we had not started rafting. But soon it became slow and after instruction of our guides we started. We met many rapids through our 14 KM rafting.

Now we reached there, where our bus was standing. We changed our clothes and took some snacks there. After that we get into bus towards Delhi.

Soon we stopped  at a big shop where I bought a pasmeena soul for my mother. In the night we took our dinner in a restaurant. Already, we were very tired so got slept within half an hours. After 14 to 15 hours journey we reached Delhi.

It was an wonderful manali tour with my colleague like family member that can not be forget never ever in life. They are wonderful people and we will always be remain in touch in any ways.
